Great place for burger, frys, and beers while watching the World Series on the 9 screens. Lots of other good food also.

Good Service. French fries to salty

Their “Non Alcoholic beer” has enough that they carded me. Why even label it that if they’re gonna ID me? Is this what America is like?

I can't help but always order the same thing when I go to Islands, always the Hawaiian burger. I am never disappointed! The service at this Island's was really good at the bar.

Shane is the best bartender by far. Good conversation, very attentive, offers restaurant ordering help. Always a great experience. No wonder he has so many regulars.

My family comes here once in a while and we enjoy the food which is both American and somewhat Mexican the food is fresh customer service is okay it gets a little loud but they're spaces for both adult at the bar and family sitting at the main area overall I recommend this place if you like hamburgers

Burgers are delicious and the endless crispy French fries always fill my belly. Been there three times so far, no real complaints. Tip: sprinkle that magic dust they call their seasoning on the burger and fries and wash it down with a cold beer. Cheers!

A standard Islands Restaurant. Very friendly and service minded servers, food is always good and just as ordered, hot and fresh. This one is located in a corner shopping center so it can be missed if not paying attention to the signs. It's a good location for a quick bite after shopping, the movies, or girls day out getting fingers & toes done.

This place is great. The food is delicious, they got a full bar, TV's playing all kinds of sports and beautiful women wearing short shorts. Queso burger is the best

I’ll give it to them that they have good burgers but everything else there is completely unremarkable. And given all the excellent options around them in the shopping center I only end up going to Islands maybe once every five years. And that’s usually because alissa venturous friend suggested it.

Best place to eat a good chicken burger. I will recommend this place to anyone. I been coming since my oldest was 10years old and now he is 24years old.

So tonight's visit here reminded me why I tend to stay away from chain restaurants. It was a full house tonight. Usually a good indicator of how well a restaurant performs overall is when they're busy. Had zero problems with the service. In fact our waitress may have came by too many times. Had zero problems with the speed in which our food arrived. Had 3 issues overall. 1. When we ordered I said that we'd like to start off with the Buffalo wings. But they came out AFTER our burgers. 2. Buffalo wings were overcooked and dry. And they had just an inkling of sauce on them. Almost to the point that there were some which had no sauce at all. 3. Asked for a medium burger. Came out well done. Yeah not coming back....

Burgers we had were great. My group of 4 ordered different items and we were all pleased with out food. Service was a little lax. Nobody was at the front.Took a solid 60-80 seconds to get seated. But our waiter had a great personality.

Went for lunch, ordered big wave burger. Great food, like the tvs all around displaying a good variety of video clips featuring surfing snowboarding and other similar sports.

Well to start off, today I drop off my car across the street to get detail and washed and walk over to Islands to have a quick bite to eat and as I enter the front door, the staff greets you right then and there. Love it.....I had a burger with fries and a glass of water. Great customer service all around, place was pack and everyone was having a great time. My server ask me not once, twice but many times which I really enjoyed that because I know she wanted to take care of the customer, ( GREAT SERVICE )Price: really goodParking: just find one and stop there is plenty of room for everyoneComfort Level: nice, not too cold or warm where you can not breatheFood Service: from 1-10 10 being the top.....10and I want to give a shootout to the cooks, you guys are doing a great job and I know that you don't a review so thank you for the great food guys.Harry Irvine

The foods ok but the service during this pandemic is slow

Juicy burgers, good french fries and a casual, fun atmosphere. I got a Big Wave with cheese and it was perfectly seasoned and cooked just the way I like it. All the girls were so nice too. Each one greeted me with a smile.It's usually packed from Friday evening to Saturday night, so I grabbed my order to go.

This spot has delicious endless fries & really good service. The staff is totally attentive & friendly, and you get your food pretty quick for the quality. Maybe it was my choice of sandwich, but I thought it was missing something. I thought the fries were better. It was still good though, and you should definitely sprinkle their seasoning on everything.

Always great food, always excellent service. Great for burgers (love the wheat bun option!) but salads, tacos and bowls are all wonderful.

It was alright just another burger place and a little bit pricey.

Very expensive, very expensive. A thin sliced chicken breast hamburger for $16.00. It was my last time eating there.

Food was great. Original waiter was great. His fill in when he went to eat was dreadful. It ruined the whole experience. No refill and waiting 15 minutes just to flag down to get check. Was contacted by Islands immediately with an apology. Now that is super service!

It was good, the waiter was very friendly too. Just a little noisy since there's football going on. Otherwise everything pretty good. We ordered well done fried, it turns out really good and crispy. 👍 We were happy to go there. We will definitely go again next time. Thanks 😉

Love this place, but tonight was opposite of relaxing. One table had kids that insisted on running up and down the aisle, completely out of control, and another had a group of huge guys that stood (yes stood) at their table the whole time and conversed loudly to other tables. Oh well.

I have been a regular of Islands for many years. I like the beach bowl, and i used to be crazy about their fries, but lately they are a bit less awesome. My rating was a 5 because all other stuff, including service, is good. I also like the bar, it 8snt too noisy and ine can order anything that the restaurant offers.

I had forgotten how good this place is and how very accommodating they are on my food limitations 😋👍

The perfect place for locals especially looking to unwind after a long day at the office! They make a good mai tai and have good happy hour specials!

I’m a big fan of Islands because they make turkey burgers, and the turkey is actually tasty. My last meal, pre-lockdown, was at Islands here in Torrance. Usually, this location is not my favorite Islands- I prefer the one in Manhattan Beach- but this one runs pretty close. The wait staff is almost always friendly, and the food is quick and tasty. On our last family trip, we started with nachos. The first round came out kind of burnt, with the cheese clumped in the middle. Our waitress was great, exchanged them, and brought out some nachos that were definitely tasty. I always ask for extra jalapeños- because who doesn’t love a little spice?Between the group, we got chicken tacos, a Greek salad, a cheeseburger and a sundae. A little hack- did you know you could sub out the beans with the tacos for refillable fries? I love French fries, so this is always my go to if I get the tacos. It was a really nice dinner out, and I look forward to dining in Islands again soon.

Worst picking up experience ever. I order a meal yesterday (November 25th ) for 2 the girl that was in the takeout counter was very rude. I didn't even get her name but she was working at 3:40pm. She dropped one of the drink roll her eyes and didn't even bother to refill it. Then we asked if we can eat her she ignored us so we ask the guy in the front who was very kind. When we open out boxes we saw we didn't have fries. When I went back to ask for them the same girl in an angry tone responded saying we order with out fries but that's is not possible I looked back at the order and try to reorder online and it has no option for "no fries" anyways the whole thing is that she asked if we still wanted fries of course we did and they brought it to us...MIND THAT WE HAD 2 ORDERS they only brought us 1 order of fries. We didn't have a good experience at all. Very upsetting & disappointed.

Good service and good food. They have TV's set up everywhere so was able to watch the game and have dinner with the family. A win win for me!👍🏿
